Goodness me! 10 more minutes till Truth or Square... I'm excited.

So... we've been waiting about a year for this event.
Meanwhile, I've got a new job.

Today was my second day and I worked on the register for the first time. It's scary for me, but a learning experience.
Now 5 minutes till T or S.....
I shall update the journal on my thoughts after the episode is over!
:::Update:::
Just watched it!
Overall I thought it was good, but there was a bit much of the Patchy the Pirate.
-The Umbilical cord drinking thing was gross, but.. meh, not the worst they could do. (It was SpongeBob experiencing his first Krabby Patty in his mother's pregnant womb. lol)
-The animation looked special, and in some points, reminded me of how the SB Movie looked. They had a mock-1950s Krusty Krab commercial, and a Steam Boat Willy-like portion, that looked like Disney's old Mickey Mouse cartoons in black and white.
-The episode was full of flashbacks, but they were never-before-seen. (Plankton being "launched" out of the Krusty Krab after his many failed attempts of stealing the formula; Squidward remembering how Bikini Bottom was "B.S." -- before SpongeBob; and how SpongeBob came to live in a pineapple).
-Apparently Mr. Krabs is into voyeurism.

While in the air vents, the group (SpongeBob, Patrick, Squidward, and Mr. K) came across the surveillance room, in which there were many screens, as one would expect. (When the others saw the tvs, Mr. Krabs backed out of the scene...) But it was what was ON the screens that was disturbing (and funny). On one screen was Patrick's living room, Squidward's house, SpongeBob's bedroom, inside and outside of the KK, Sandy's treedome, and inside of Sandy's bathroom. She was brushing her teeth as they watched them.
SpongeBob asked why he had the cameras and Mr. Krabs replied that he wanted to make sure they were keeping up on their dental hygiene, to which SpongeBob says, "Thank you!"
-My personal favorite part was when they were distressing about being trapped in the air shafts (water shafts?) and SpongeBob sighs, and says something like, "I wish Sandy were here." And the gang agrees that she could get them out. Pat then gets an idea and says, "We can use this!" and he reaches into the front of his shorts, much to the shock/amusement of the audience, and pulls out a walky-talky radio. It was Sandy's radio, Squidward snatched it and called Sandy on it. She said, "So it was YOU who stole my radio, Squidward!" Patrick smashes it. THEN SpongeBob says, "Remember the time Sandy and I got married?" Everyone freaks out.
It then flashes to Sandy walking down the isle in a wedding dress, the priest says something about the "bonds of love."

They say their "I dos" and lean in for a kiss. SpongeBob bumps his head on her helmet, but it was as good as done.

Then the music screws up and a light falls to the floor, to which, a member of the audience boos, and people start walking out, saying it's the worst play ever. The sign outside of the theater says, "Tonight only: the Marriage of SpongeBob." Back inside, the priest says, "I didn't know that this was a play..." End of flashback.

-Later on, they fight their way out of the ducts, and prevent Plankton from stealing the Secret Formula. All the customers are gone and Mr. Krabs is sad. SpongeBob starts singing a song (O, Krusty Krab, O, Krusty Krab!) to the tune of "O, Christmas Tree." Customers come and it's a happy ending.

-The episode was littered with celebrities.. and to me they were pretty useless, other than to boost ratings, I suppose. Robin Williams, Tina Fey, Pink, Will Ferrel, Ricky Gervais, LeBron James among a few others. I thought at first, when I had heard there would be celebrities in T or S, that they'd do voices, but they simply made appearances.
My little, teeny, personal wish was that they might bring up the marriage again later on.. as it was SpongeBob's "BIG SECRET." You know.. like in "The Krabby Kronicle" when Patrick married the pole and he shows up at the end with "her." Just a little thing like that... but oh well.
I give the episode a B+
hehe. Spandy to the extreme!
